What If I never knew you?
For sure, I’ll be blue.
What if I went out today,
And drink tea by the bay.
That isn’t a normal thing,
Like visiting a hot spring
with a hot summer fling.
What if I forget my goof
and sunbathe on the roof.
What If I tried to reduce,
and hide some of my bruise,
Caused by being abused.
Hiding inside my sundress
to reduce a bit of stress.
What If I stop my gluttony,
and Ignore all the pepperoni.
What If I suddenly see you
with a haircut that is new.
That isn’t a cool thing
Like eating an asparagus
and ignoring chocolate mousse
On a long hot summer blues.
